Retro Lovely Taboo Edition No.1 (Retro Lovely, Taboo Edition) Description
Yes it's true. Retro Lovely has released a special publication called Taboo Edition. In Retro Lovely No.1 we printed an image of the lovely Caroline Jones (shown here) by the studio Digital Articulation, the original image was a pseudo magazine cover called "Taboo Edition". Kevin Greggian with the studio suggested the graphic be re-worked to show Retro Lovely as the masthead. This is how it ran but what we did not expect was the flurry of hushed inquiries we received asking about the "Taboo Edition". We also through the process of assembling issues No.1 and No.2 had quite a few amazing images that we turned down for printing due to the content being a bit too pulse-quickening for the benchmark we wanted to establish. Taboo Edition will all but eliminate that sort of "restriction". Retro Lovely Taboo Edition will maintain an emphasis on exceptional, beautiful pinup imagery but allow displays of our models features on par with classic mens' magazines while not getting anywhere near the really strong adult material. This issue maintains the image quality established by Retro Lovely with images that might range from implied nudity to fully nude models to images that feature a model in attire that covers them up but is still too hot for our regular edition. Retro Lovely Taboo Edition is 108 pages and is produced with the same quality materials and production values that have set Retro Lovely apart from any comparable magazine being produced today. This product will carry no advertising at all and as such we are establishing a cover price of $15.00 to account for this. This particular item is a first edition printing and is nearly sold out. Pricing reflects collector's value. First edition copies of RL No.1 and No.2 are fetching better than $40 each currently.
